PIPE ORGANS

Pipe Organs are usually built on a custom basis. Pipes are made by North American and European pipe makers to required specification.

Chests are custom built by us usually using the direct electric system for greatest flexibility and maintenance - free operation. Coupling and switching is carried out using our own electronic systems which have been in constant use in organs for more than forty years with virtually no maintenance or failure.

We build our own consoles in-house with our own coulpling and transposing systems as well as our own capture pre-set system using a multi-page electronic memory.

 

While pipe organs appear to be more costly at first, it is usually found that a smaller pipe organ will be as effective as a large electronic organ, greatly narrowing the cost gap. Considering the high depreciation of electronic organs due to the obsolecence factor, pipe organs are often the better buy if space and conditions are suitable.
